Yumlyt

Terms of Service

Last updated: 8 September 2026

1. Who we are

Yumlyt is operated by Theaimart. Yumlyt is a marketplace: we connect you with independent restaurants, shops and delivery partners in your area. The businesses listed on Yumlyt prepare and are responsible for the items you order.

2. Your account

You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code. You are responsible for keeping access to that number secure, and for orders placed from your account. The same account works on this website and in the Yumlyt app.

You must be able to enter into a contract under Indian law to place an order.

3. Orders and prices

  • Item prices are set by the restaurant or shop. Yumlyt shows the price they have published.
  • Your bill is calculated by Yumlyt at checkout and shown in full before you pay. It may include a packaging and handling charge, a delivery fee, a platform fee, and applicable GST.
  • The delivery fee depends on the distance between the store and your delivery address, so your saved address must include a map location.
  • Placing an order is an offer to buy. The order is confirmed when the restaurant or shop accepts it. A business may decline an order — for example if an item is unavailable — and anything you have paid is then refunded.
  • Cash on delivery is available on orders up to ₹2,000. Above that, payment is online.

4. Payments

Online payments are processed by Razorpay. Yumlyt does not store your card details. Payments are verified against the amount Yumlyt calculated for your order before the order is created.

Your Yumlyt wallet holds credit from top-ups and from refunds. It can be used towards an order and cannot be withdrawn as cash.

5. Delivery

Delivery times depend on the business, the category and your location, and any time shown is an estimate rather than a promise. See our Delivery policy for more.

6. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation windows and refunds are set out in our Cancellation and Refund policy.

7. Acceptable use

  • Do not use Yumlyt for any unlawful purpose.
  • Do not attempt to interfere with, probe or overload the service or its systems.
  • Do not place orders you do not intend to accept or pay for. Repeated refused cash orders may lead to cash payment being withdrawn from your account.
  • Treat delivery partners and restaurant staff with respect. Abuse may result in your account being closed.

8. Our responsibility

The restaurant or shop is responsible for the preparation, quality, packaging and legal compliance of the items you order. Yumlyt is responsible for the ordering service, for the accuracy of the bill we calculate, and for handling refunds under our published policy.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable Indian law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the one that applies to it.
